A tragic turn of events occurred after an accident in West Jordan on January 30, 2009. Six people were injured after a van attempted to make a left turn and was struck by an SUV. According to KSL News, a woman in the van has died from the injuries she sustained in the accident. A 15-year-old girl remains in serious condition in the hospital. The other four victims, including a 7-year-old boy, have been released from the hospital.
